Y Valley Aquatic Swim Club
Y Valley Aquatic Swim Club is a swimming NSW registered swimming club. The club was established in June 2005 by the original committee members President Kerry Smith, Treasurer Linda McLaren, Secretary Karen Peterson, Race Secretary Stacey Blood & Registrar Warren Ashbourne.
The club caters for all levels of swimmers ranging from the beginners, development squad members, representative levels.
The club is based in the Kurri Kurri Aquatic Centre, Boundary Street, Kurri Kurri. The Centre is proudly managed by the YMCA on behalf of the Cessnock City Council. YMCA is a community based charity that delivers programs and services to help build strong families and communities across Australia.
Y Valley Aquatic Swim Club offers a wide range of opportunities for the individual swimmer. The Y Valley swim squad is coached by one of the Hunter's best - Thomas Kuszelyk. Thomas has been involved in swimming since the age of 8 and is a former state competitor. His goal is to assist all the children develop their swimming and improve their personal performance. The swimmers train all year round in the modern, well designed and safe indoor complex.
Y Valley Aquatic Swim Club believes Swimming is best achieved in a supportive, caring and friendly environment that promotes a passion for the arts of swimming. Our vision is achieved by encouraging the children to achieve their best results through motivation, diligence and friendship.
